Corn bread spiff up

Here's a quick and easy way to Jazz Up your cornbread!


Already this season we've gone to 2 chili cookoffs. I've never been a huge fan of chili so I usually opt to bring a side or dessert.

I've noticed that corn bread changes with the different regions of the country. Some places prefer savory corn bread while other places add tons of sugar to it and it's almost cake like in sweetness.

I like mine more on the salty, savory side, but anything is good as long as it's not dry and too crumbly.

My step mom showed me this trick a few years back and I think it's the best crowd pleaser for everyone. Plus it's super super quick and easy to make!

Ready for the big secret recipe?




Mix one box of Jiffy corn bread mix as directed on package.
Add one can of CREAMED corn
Bake as directed.
Enjoy warm with a thick pad of butter!
